lack Stars is an academy of sports based in Drieziek, Orange Farm that was founded by Nkosinathi Twala and Siphiwe Nkosi in 2012 with the aim of contributing to the development of sports and arts & culture in South Africa by spotting, developing and preparing young players and artists to compete in a state-wide

and national level and supplying professional teams and agencies with well-prepared players and artists. We also want to engage young people in a fight against social chal-

lenges by encouraging them to participate in sports and arts & culture activities. Black Stars Sports Academy specializes in sports, arts & culture, events management and, life skills. The academy was of-

ficially registered on 04 April 2013. Services: Sports: We are registering players to participate in our sports teams; our teams include boys soccer, ladies soccer, netball and cricket. More activities are yet to be introduced. Arts & Culture: Artists are

Events Management: We plan, organize and implement community events to encourage young people to participate in sports and arts & culture activities by providing them platform to showcase their talent and skills in more competitive atmosphere. We also facilitate life skills workshops to equip young people with knowledge and provide an environment in which they express themselves and discuss issues that affect them such as, HIV & AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, crime and violence, and peer pressure.
