Primary Initiatives: Grow Teams- One of our main People Initiatives will be to create Grow Teams with in our organization. Executive Directors and/or Directors will lead a group of Team Leaders and Team Members. These groups will be responsible for organizational communication (campaigns, corporate communication), team building exercises, and training opportunities. This will give leaders a platform to take ownership in people development. Organizational Culture- The top priority for the People piece of any organization is establishing the right culture. The culture will be established by the Owner/Operator and led by the HPLT. We will ensure the proper systems are in place to recruit, select, on-board, train and empower our team to embody our restaurants core values. We will not pay team members minimum wage because we do not expect minimum effort. Due to this philosophy, we will invest in the talent that fits our organization. Each person, Executive Director to Team Member will be expected to add value to the restaurant.

Mission: By creating “REMARK”able experiences, our guests will score us in the top 20% of Operational Excellence and Be “REMARK”able scores. We will leverage our S.A.L.E.s initiatives to grow sales within the four walls of our restaurant. Safety in Food Service - Our primary focus will be creating and sustaining a culture of food safety at Chick-fil-A Grapevine Hwy and Mid-cities Blvd FSR. We will create a Food Safety Team to lead and implement procedures, as well as best practices in food safety in our restaurant. This team will ensure we execute SAFE daily critical audits every day. Findings of each SAFE audit will be reported on a daily End of Shift report and action steps will be created at weekly HPLT meetings. We will invest in an ITD Prep-Pal Labeler for our kitchen team to utilize for proper product labeling. Accurate & Quick Drive Thru - Our restaurant will be prepared to activate any level of iPOS to ensure our guests demands are met while being good stewards of our organizations resources. In today’s culture, we want to meet the demands of our customer’s fast paced lifestyle.

LEAN Initiatives- One of our core values is Efficiency and we will leverage all LEAN resources that Chick-fil-A offers. We are a restaurant and will focus on the systems to serve the freshest quality food. Even if a system’s forecast fails, with a growth mindset, we will continue to utilize our resources. We will leverage Inform to maximize LEAN Chicken Entrees, LEAN Prep, and LEAN Inventory. Consistency: Execute our restaurants vision and ensure guests expectations are exceeded on every visit. Awareness: Begin to leverage our unique assets (Food, People, Cows, Influence) to educate our guests on Chick-fil-A products, catering, and marketing opportunities. Initiatives: Surprise & Delight- For the first 12 months of business we will reward a local school, business, hospital, or government entity with a Surprise & Delight delivery. We will use this act of generosity to increase awareness around our catering business at Grapevine Hwy and Mid-cities Blvd FSR. Back Stage Tours: We will showcase our brand new restaurant by inviting guests on Back Stage Tours. Our marketing team will schedule tours for schools as well as surprise guests dining in with an opportunity to go “backstage�. We will use this as an opportunity to showcase our products and encourage our guests to allow us to cater their next event.

Sales & Brand Growth (continued) Meal Enhancement: To further educate our guests knowledge of our menu, we will create contests for our cashiers to suggest enhancements to our guest’s meals. We will tactfully train our team members to make these suggestions to compliment a guest’s meal to make their experience better. Product Sampling: Led by our Restaurant Marketing Director, our team will execute weekly sampling to educate our guests on limited time menu items. We will create a Sampling Calendar that is strategically crafted to grow sales of specific menu items or day parts. Relationships: Build the foot print of our influence by developing relationships with local schools, businesses, hospitals, and government entities. Initiatives: Mom’s Valet- Enhance the experience of a day out for Mom’s or Dad’s and their kids. We will use this service model to serve the 33.5% of Hurst households with children under 18 years of age. After 3 months of operations, we will begin to market this service through social media and in restaurant POP. Save-The-Cows Nights: We will partner with Police, Fire & Rescue, and schools to host an event to build awareness for Chick-fil-A and local entities. We will theme each night around how each group will help save our beloved Chick-fil-A Cows.

Strategy:

Develop and coach leaders on the principles of financial return. We will budget monthly based on the Incremental Profit Opportunity (IPO) statement for Chick-fil-A Grapevine Hwy and Mid-cities Blvd FSR. We will implement the proper systems and procedures to attain profits of 15% or higher by the end of the first 12 months of operations. Initiatives: “Control the Controllable”- We will create and recalibrate a budget based off our restaurants IPO. This will allow us to control the “fixed” expenses for Grapevine Hwy and Mid-cities Blvd FSR and allow us to achieve our profitability goals. LEAN Labor- Chick-fil-A Grapevine Hwy and Mid-cities Blvd FSR we will invest in our people. I am willing to invest heavily on the front end to execute the proper training and calibration plan to ensure increased profitability over time. We will invest 23% of sales the first month in labor to fully execute a post transition training plan. We will execute a plan to lower our labor cost to 19.75% by our sixth month of business.
