In every daily life, we use Characters to signified what we want. However, Where do these signs come from? How we defined the meaning of a single character? Chinese characters experience more than three thousands years history. In the very beginning, they were formed by the nature appearance or sense based on the objects. It is the one of most primary and original logical thinking in the field of typography. Where did we come from? Where will we go to? This poster includes 9 characters and each characters have developed 10 various forms. These typeface are based on its prime form and modern sense of beauty to predict the development of each character in the future.

The Type Future


Every time there is a festival, people pray to Buddha for prosperous wealth in faith. They consider Buddha as a food of mind, as if money will be poured into their pockets after prayer. However, Buddhism’s values of philanthropic-mindedness and contentment are ignored. Regarding the poster image, buddha’s hair has been changed into coins to represent materialism in religion and to express the discrepancy between people’s wishes and Buddhism.

For the beginning level, the player could only play with one or two basic game, such as polar zone

TENACITY


This is a branding project for a bar. Its theme is about a mysterious journeys and adventure to Atlantis. The attributes of the water park are fantasy, adventure, ocean and mystery.’ For the logo design, the centre swirl represents part of the ocean specifically the shape of water and the attraction of the deep- sea. The geometric columns around the circle represent the part of empire. It creates the impression of ancient architecture.

Ocean Empire


The event is about the resurrection of Ocean Empire. The merpeople who live in at the depths of Ocean Empire come ashore to hold a masquerade ball. At the event, the merprople actors will dance and take photos with the guests. On the poster, the central image of the merperson is formed by many tiny rectangles and provides active movement and a mysterious feeling for the viewer. The radioactive rectangles in the background present the strong music rhythm that will be at the party, and also call back to the geometric columns in the logo of Ocean Empire. The package doubles as a party cap that party goers can wear. Inside of the cap, there is also an eye mask that can be used in the party.

This exhibition’s theme is “Education of hope,” giving a message that education can help South Sudan to create a better future. Its aims to present the poor educational situation in South Sudan and the change after World Vision’s help. The broad use the colours of South Sudan’s flag - blue, green and red represent different topic. The layout is combined with the pattern inspired by African culture, and the information’s structure.

SEXUAL ASSAULT The animation is aimed to increase awareness of sexual assault. The main content of the animation is to describe the common elements of sexual assault and to suggest a feasible solution. It emphasises that women should be brave to prevent sexual assault. To draw people’s attention and lessen the fear toward sexual assault, it uses cute and simple characters through out the animation. Moreover, the chart clearly and effectively displays the related data.
