Alameda Vintage Fashion Faire

Hope Hospice Hike for Hope

Join the community for a heartfelt day of hope and philanthropy with this annual memorial hike and fundraiser benefiting Hope Hospice’s patient care and community programs. Stroll along a scenic 2.6-mile out-and-back trail and tack on an optional 2-mile loop featuring a moderate climb and stunning views. Livermore Valley Craft Beer Festival

Experience this immersive exhibit celebrating the artistry, resilience and legacy of modern-day cowboys and cowgirls. You’ll explore the vibrant traditions of the California West through a stunning collection of artworks of different media.

At the heart of the exhibit is the Range-Life Sculpture Exhibit—an open-air showcase of bold, temporary sculptures by regional artists. Each piece channels the grit, grace, and evolving artistry of cowboy life. Capping off the experience, a Cowboy Poetry and Storytelling Night will bring these themes to life through powerful performances filled with wit, wisdom, and heartfelt reflections on the cowboy spirit. Celebrate Summer at the Alameda County Fair June 13 – July 6

The 2025 Alameda County Fair is set to celebrate summer at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The Big O Tires Summer Concert Series boasts an electrifying lineup featuring a diverse range of acts such as Too $hort, Air Supply and Colbie Caillat. Concerts will be held nightly at 8pm, except on July 4. Select evenings will be capped off with a mesmerizing drone show at 9:30pm and a fireworks show on Friday, June 13, and Thursday, July 3. Beyond the music, the fair offers exciting carnival rides, delicious fair food, incredible action sports, great shopping and much more.

West excitement. This historic rodeo draws fans from all over to experience heartpounding rodeo action, camaraderie and old-fashioned fun. The family-friendly atmosphere, set against the scenic East Bay hills, makes the event more than just a rodeo—it’s a celebration of Western culture and community spirit.

Festivities officially kick off with the return of the Rodeo Parade on Saturday, May 10. This beloved event now features a later start time followed by a lively music and food festival. Castro Valley Boulevard will be shut down to make room for an evening full of entertainment and culinary delights.

Events continue throughout the week, building up to rodeo weekend. Fans can look forward to the Cecil Jones Team Roping Cowboy Challenge, the spirited Cowgirl Picnic and the thrilling Rockin’ Bull Bash. Then comes the main event: two days of world-class professional rodeo action on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, including a steak BBQ, dance and the Cowboy Experience.
