OPTREX ActiMist Eye Spray Hot weather, air conditioning and staring at a screen can all make our eyes dry and tired, so we were thrilled to be sent some eye spray to try. You spray it onto closed eyelids, and it works by replenishing the eyes’ natural moisture barrier and improving the hydration of the eyelids and the skin around the eyes. The mist is fine and doesn’t smudge your makeup, though we’re not sure the effect could last for as long as the ‘up to four hours’ that the packet claims. Still, on a hot day it’s a great boost and is really refreshing – and is much easier to apply than eye drops. £11.99 Superdrug www.superdrug.com

Supergoop Sun Wipes Ever had a bottle of suncream leak in your handbag, leaving all of its contents in a sticky mess? We reckon that’s happened once too often to the people at Supergoop, who have made these rather innovative wipes. They’re impregnated with SPF30 UV protection and don’t leave skin feeling greasy like sun lotion can do, but we still think we’d feel safer with a good dollop of cream rather than a wipe. That said, we reckon they’re great to keep in your bag in case of emergencies, or to top up with sunscreen while out and about. RRP: £30 for a pack of 40 wipes Huggle www.huggle.co.uk
