A roaring success
The York Lions are looking for new members. Don’t worry though, the entrance requirements don’t include hunting wildebeest on the Serengeti or hanging out in a pride. What the group need are volunteers to help in a range of ways – by assisting disabled people, mentoring pupils and prov iding hospital equipment. York is just one branch of a worldwid e network that aims to meet the needs of local communities whil e having fun along the way – the Lions reward themselves with regu lar social events. Luckily the York Lions are recruiting new mem bers at the moment, so now’s the time to grab the opportunity to join a truly worthwhile and fun social club! n To find out more, call 490410.
