Hi & welcome to our May issue!

Term 1 school holidays done and dusted and just like that we are back into the routine of school. With that comes the start of the footy season and living in a house with 4 boys (hubby included!) equals loads of footy talk - winning, losing, footy cards, ladders - the list goes on! Being so outnumbered I have to admit “if you can't beat them - join them” So goes Blues!!

May is also the month we celebrate all of us amazing Mums! Yes - it is the hardest job I have ever done; long hours, playing referee & bouncer multiple times a day, sometimes terrible working conditions, days without a break and running on coffee after very limited sleep... But like all of us I wouldn’t change it (ok maybe some more sleep would be good!) For me the best parts are the giggles from our boys playing together, the chats in bed when they are drifting off to sleep, the looks on their faces when they master a new skill and the out of the blue “I love you Mum”.

It’s these times that make it all so worth it!

Malahang Playspace Oriel Road HEIDELBERG WEST

This playspace has something for everyone and will suit families of all ages.

Set out over a huge area it consists of a well spaced playground, full basketball court, a skate park with a junior ramp, a second ramp area for kids that are more experienced and a double bowl for the thrill seekers! There is also a dirt BMX track with hills if bikes are more their thing.

In the play area there is a double flying fox, a big double peaked spider web to climb, a birds nest swing big enough for 2 or 3 and there is a second flying fox with a harness too.

The main play structure resembles a big ship and has ramps, slides, tunnels & climbing steps to

move around on. There is also a second smaller boat structure for toddlers, ramps to run up and down, a swing set, spinners, a surf board, 2 tyre swings, a large see saw, spinning cup & a separate double slide. Plenty of play equipment for everyone to play and paths to ride along!

The space has 2 covered picnic areas that include tables & chairs, BBQ’s and plenty of seating throughout the area. Public toilets are close by along with drinking fountains to quench your busy kids thirsts.

Remember to pack snacks & a coffee for yourself because you will be there for some time. As the saying goes - time flies when you're having fun!!
