Being a Globetrotter
I’m very much inspired by travelling. I believe travelling is education itself. I love learning about different cultures and practices. My life’s passion is to travel the world! I want to travel to 50 countries before I’m 50, in all 7 continents. Currently I have travelled to 10, those being Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, China, Germany, and Ghana.
Hi! I’m Joseph Hoang. I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and now currently reside in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. I have attended the University of Toronto for Global Health and International Relations and now am completing my Bachelor of Education at Red Deer College.
Travelling is what inspired me to teach. When in Ghana, Laos, and Thailand, I got the chance to teach at local schools. It was an amazing experience and altered my life greatly.
I love all kinds of food! Especially anything deep fried! Fashion and music are huge interests of mine and living downtown Toronto really fueled that fire. I love an adventure and am really open minded to trying new things.

It just seems like my life is a never-ending list of things I want to do. I really want to skydive the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, trek Machu Picchu, and cave the World's Biggest Cave in Vietnam. I honestly just want to do everything. My goal for teaching is to be able to teach abroad in developing countries and provide an opportunity to those who may not have one.
