PRESCHOOL & PRE-K Our preschool & pre-K programs provide instruction using the Creative Curriculum, which offers a wide variety of developmental and age appropriate activities to encourage social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Y preschool & pre-K programs foster the healthy development of youth by offering young children and families early learning readiness experiences. Our programs address the holistic development of young children by supporting brain development, early literacy, and healthy habits development. Our curriculum aligns to Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards, helping ensure your child will enter Kindergarten ready to learn. The preschool & pre-K programs offer a wide variety of activities that encourage social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in each child. Our curriculum includes enriching educational activities with opportunities for each child to explore, create, and develop skills in a safe, fun, play-based environment. Children will be encouraged to develop problem solving skills, social skills, and school readiness skills. Weekly enrichment opportunities include: • games and activities that keep kids moving and learning healthy habits as part of our commitment to the HEPA STANDARDS - Healthy Eating, Physical Activity. • swimming lessons- kids learn water safety and improve their swim skills.

SCHOOL AGE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM Program hours: 5:30 am until bus pick up, and bus drop off until 6:00 pm. Program services Greenville City Schools (K-4). Combining play and academics, the program offers enhanced learning opportunities outside the classroom in a safe environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. Students could experience a variety of activities including homework time, art enrichment opportunities, inside and outside recreation, creative projects, and sports with an emphasis on character development. Research shows that children who participate in after school programs are more successful in academics, are healthier, and more often maintain positive behaviors. Before and After School programming at the Y is specially geared to achieve these results. A nutritious breakfast before school and snack after school is provided for all children in the School Age Program. Full day School Age care is provided on teacher work days, holidays, and inclement weather days. Full day care includes recreational swimming, games and activities, and a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack.

FULL DAY FUN DAYS! Not everyone needs childcare all the time, but it might be helpful occasionally! Did you know we offer a DROPIN OPTION on no-school days and inclement weather days during the school year?
