Value members are given full access to the YMCA branch where membership is initiated and any other Fort Worth, Arlington or Dallas YMCA with the exception of the Downtown Branches. Additional categories available upon request.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE It is the philosophy of the YMCA to provide services for any person who desires to participate and understands the benefits of the YMCA, regardless of ability to pay the standard membership or program fee. Scholarships will be provided to individuals/families based on need and based on the amount of subsidy dollars available. The Hood County YMCA obtains funds for our scholarships through our Annual Campaign. OPEN DOORS PROGRAM The Open Doors program provides quick and easy financial assistance to anyone based on the below qualifications. Open Doors program qualification automatically gives you 50% off the membership of your choice and 25% off all YMCA programs. Bring in one of the below qualifiers and sign up for a membership and/or programs on the spot. Open Door Qualifiers:  Free & Reduced Lunch | Notice of Approval  HUD/Section 8 | Statement Letter  SNAP (Food Stamps) | Notice of Approval  WIC | Statement Letter / Voucher  Medicaid | Notice of Approval  CHIP | Notice of Approval TOGETHER 20 PROGRAM Refer a friend to join the Y, and when they join, you and your friend will both receive 20% OFF the membership dues with our Together 20 Program. GROUP SWIM LESSONS The YMCA has been the leader in teaching people how to swim for more than 100 years. Our certified and highly qualified swim instructors are well-trained to meet each participant’s needs based on their ability. Splash into the pool by learning to swim at the YMCA!

SPRING BREAK CAMP Make this Spring Break an adventure for your child! Day camp provides campers with STEAM-based activities that teach YMCA core values. Children spend time indoors and outdoors as camp staff lead them in a wide variety of activities each day. Activities include camp crafts, group games, skits, songs, sports and swimming. Campers will also enjoy an off-site field trip to YMCA Camp Carter! WHEN March 9 - 13 from 7:00am - 6:00pm

*Private/Semi–Private Lessons are also available LESSON TYPES Swim Starters - Accompanied by a parent, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence building experiences, while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. Swim Basics - Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills:  Swim, Float, Swim - sequencing front glide, roll, back float, roll front glide and exit  Jump, Push, Turn, Grab Swim Strokes - Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stoke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.

Be sure to call the Y today to reserve yours YMCA MIDDLE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM The YMCA offers an Afterschool program for Acton Middle School students ages 11-14 Monday through Friday from 4:15pm-6:00pm. It offers a great opportunity for the students to work on homework, participate in physical activity, and participate in monthly service projects!

SPORTS SPRING SPORTS Have your child be part of our fun and exciting sports leagues in 2020! YMCA Sports provide children the opportunity to grow and develop specific skills needed to advance in their sports career. Registration ends February 9 (late registration until February 28) and each season starts March 7.  Soccer 3-8 year olds  Flag Football 5-6 year olds  7 on 7 Football 7-14 year olds  Basketball 3-8 years old MEMBER PRICING $70

Y-WARRIOR STRONGER THAN YOU THINK. Taught by our nationally certified instructors, Y Warrior is an indoor/outdoor boot camp specifically programmed to develop power, strength and endurance for all fitness levels. Using the best equipment and training protocols, expect to be challenged and pushed to achieve a better you.

DANCE PROGRAM Enroll your child to be part of our Hood County Dance Program! Season begins March 16th 2020 and their Spring Recital will be May 4th 2020! Please call the YMCA for more details! KARATE/SELF-DEFENSE CLASSES Hood County YMCA offers Karate and Self-Defense classes for the whole family! Please contact the YMCA for more information~
