L’IL DIPPERS PROGRAMS L’il Dippers programs introduce preschoolers (and the adults who accompany them) to a wide range of water activities, while setting a foundation for the critical life skill of swimming.

Introduce your little one to swimming with Splashers and Bubblers. Learn how to be safe and have fun in the water with your child.

Children will grow their comfort and confidence to prepare for independent swim lessons.
Bobbers and Floaters
AGES 3Y- 5Y
Bobbers hold the wall, kick, blow bubbles, perform assisted front and back glides, and learn about water hazards.

Kick on front and back for 5m
Surface-support for 30 seconds
Swim for 25m
Gliders and Divers Gliders develop deep water skills, perform 5-metre front and back swims, and learn how to access EMS. Divers learn to surface-support for 10 seconds, perform 5-metre front and back swims, and are introduced to boating safety. Surfers and Dippers Surfers perform kneeling dives, and 15-metre front and back swims. Dippers surface-support for 45 seconds, perform 25-metre front and back swims, and are introduced to throwing assists.

We offer swim certification programs from Bronze Star to National Lifeguard. We even offer a junior lifeguard program. With two new YMCA facilities opening soon, there will be plenty of lifeguard and swim instructor opportunities.
