VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

General membership meetings will be held on once a month, October to May, on the first Tuesday of the month from 11:30 am 1:00 p.m. For further information and details about each meeting.

If you’d like to join our team, let us know. We have a number of fun and interesting ways you can be a part of our Y and want to hear what you have to offer your friends and neighbors. For information about how to get involved, please contact Frank Rota at 203.869.1630 ext. 209 or email frota@gwymca.org

Do you have a skill or talent you want to share with us here at the Y? Passionate, dedicated and energetic volunteers are always needed and welcome!

GIVING

For nearly a century, the YMCA of Greenwich has been a cornerstone of the community. We serve hundreds of people each and every day in countless ways. But we could not do this without the generous support of our members and friends. You can help us continue to make a difference!

Please contact: Betsy Culeman 203.869-1630 ext. 306 or bculeman@gwymca.org. 32

HELP US BUILD A STRONGER COMMUNITY Through the “Y for All” campaign, we support and strengthen our community – one child, one family, one relationship at a time. The Y helps people of all ages and from all walks of life to be more healthy, confident and connected. We enhance our community and continue to provide a place everyone can call home. When you give to the Y, your tax-deductible gift will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS $100 will help one child stay active and learn skills in six weeks of Basketball classes. $250 gives a child one week of summer camp, providing memories that last a lifetime. $1,000 provides two seniors year-long memberships, with access to specialty programming and classes promoting senior healthy living. $2,500 provides four months of after school care, giving an elementary child a fun, safe and nurturing environment after school. $5,000 provides four months of early childhood education, helping a child prepare for kindergarten in our full time childcare. $10,000 makes it possible for more families to gain a healthier life, truly making the YMCA of Greenwich a “Y for All.”
