JOIN US IN SOMETHING BIG It’s going to be a vibrant 2013 at the YMCA of Greenwich, and we’re glad you’re a part of it! This marks our 97th year serving the Greenwich community. Through the support of so many, we have been able to support our community in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Over the last decade, the Y has gone through a massive transformation. With the completion of the renovation project in 2012, our beloved Y has seen 40% more operating space added, the return of our historic warm water pool, additional locker rooms and handicap accessibility incorporated throughout the entire facility. This up-to-date, fully accessible building will provide Greenwich with programs that support our families, friends and neighbors. We have an amazing line up of Winter programs this season like lecture series, additional parent/child classes, youth sports & humanities, vacation camps & clinics and so much more. On January 5th, we will be hosting an Open House for the entire Greenwich community. We invite you to sample a day in the life of the Greenwich Y. Come meet our dedicated staff, participate in Y programming and help us celebrate this valuable community center that has been in the heart of Greenwich for nearly a century. Thank you for being a valued member of the Y. We look forward to continuing to meet your needs as well as the needs of all in Greenwich. With your support, we will continue to enrich more lives, strengthen more families and foster more connection within our community for another 100 years. Sincerely,

Ed Philipp CEO/President

AQUA EXERCISE PERSONAL TRAINING Aquatic training offers advantages one cannot achieve on dry-land, regardless of the participant’s condition. By combining non-impact aerobics and strength training with the buoyancy of the water, you can obtain cardiovascular and muscle toning benefits without straining joints and muscles. Participants receive a personalized program designed to help one achieve their fitness goals.

MASTERS SWIM PROGRAM

Water exercise is safe, effective and fun for all ages and all abilities, from a beginner to the professional athlete.
