The coffeemaker is designed to let people be convenient to enjoy the delicious coffee no matter when and where, in a world, invisible coffeemaker provids hot coffee in a world where boundaries are disappearing. The modeling is mellow, compact and tidy which shows people good business style.

It would be great, if I could have I cup of coffee to drink whenever and wherever, espacially after an exhausted day.

BACKGROUND In my junior year, I have a short time internship at Starbucks. I found that if we go to the coffee store buy a cup of coffee, we need cost at least more than 20min for buy coffee and wait in line. In modern society, people are under high pressure in a rush for work. Scenario AssumptionďźšStay up late for work at midnight and be in rush for work in the morning, the weather is cold outside, but we do not have a hot drink to warm our body. Here is our design oppotunity. Coffee is slightly acidic and can have a stimulat -ing effect on humans because of its caffeine content. Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. Clinical studies indicate that moderate coffee con -sumption is benign or mildly beneficial in healthy adults.

01 Invisible CHUNKING Coffeemaker Nowadays, children have to face not only schoolwork which is increasingly heavy, but also their schoolbag. Schoolbag's overweight is an educational problem, as well as a serious health issue in China. This design aims at solving Beijing children's schoolbag problem, which contains schoolbag overloads and over protecting parents tidying and carrying the schoolbag for their children. After investigating the market, analyzing the problems, proposing solutions, this design comes to a product.

USERS RESEARCH In the research, the childr6 were asked to draw the ideal bag which were more appropriate to their I went to Beijing Jinsong Secondary Primary School continuously for two weeks to make full time actual measurement。 The ideal bag drawn by these children reflects their real needs. Most children expect the ability to zoom in and out or automatic drive of school bags. Some of them hope to get the shoulder and neck massage function.

SKETCHING&EVALUATION After in-depth research, I finished the sketching based on several points and defined three proposals after evaluation. Based on all the elements, I define the proposal for my


WORKSHOP I went to Hebei Baigou (North China's largest luggage manufacturing) to produce Chunking. I spent a lot of time trying to connect modules to each other, and I tried a lot of things before I finally figured out how to use the mortise lock and zipper together. The size the first sample is too large, after adjusting, the effect is good.

Through the experiment, The children did not worry about the installation, and they also love the color.

FINAL Chunking school bag helps children reduce the burden of the bag from simplifying and distributing the courses material. It also helps children learn to organize their bags, and makes them know they are old enough to share the burden of bags with their parents when going to school. By sharing the burden, children have to communicate with parents and tighten the connections. Here are some pictures in actual use.

Yun Soldiers , In Beijing, the status of the tourism industry has become increasingly prominent, and the demand for travel souvenir products becomes bigger, and distinctive tourism products can enhance reputation and popularity of Beijing. Yun Soldiers is the story of Beijing that I tell through toys on this basis. Yun Soldiers, which used the conception of nine old gates of Beijing City and utilized the history, the culture and functional characteristics of the old city gates, are our design as a Beijing Gift.


INSPIRATION There are some thing about the inspiration. When we were traveling in Beijing, it was not hard to find some very interesting names in many places in Beijing. For example, when we taking the subway or bus, when the car prompts station name, it often say we are in some door. This is very interesting. Yun Soldiers, which used the conception of nine old gates of Beijing City and utilized the history, the culture and functional characteristics of the old city gates, are our design as a Beijing Gift. Then I extracted the traditional implied meaning as design theme. In spite of telling the story of Beijing old city gate, Yun Soldiers also have a function of defending fortune in Chinese culture.

In very early time, Baqi derives from Jurchen people living in outside Shanhaiguan Pass in China. The Emperor, Nurhaci, in Qing Dynasty created the unique social organization forgove -rnment according to different color in flag. WORKSHOP Thereâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the process of making the doll. Productive steps are: print two-dimensional drawings, paper sample, color, the improvements of the original details, silk screen, embroidery patterns, sealing, production of accessories, The body part was finalized by two proofing adjustments, and the weapon was finalized by three adjustments. Only through the constant re-design process and improvement in the process of design can achieve the best results.

FINAL This is a very proud practice, as I have completed a series of designs on my own and they are in accordance to cultural backgrounds and industry needs, with these integrated into the works. Bnichea Cup This project finished during my sophomore. The topic is “Cup”. Our professor asked each of us design a cup using ceramic. At the end of the course, both the object and the brand design practice were needed. Buddhism and tea ceremony have a deep connection in China since ancient time, my work is to integrate Buddhist elements into the ceramic tureen and combine these two cultural symbols in a modern way to capture new things from collision.

Here are a few very clear questions. Even though China is the main producer of ceramics, people label the products with cheap and low quality. The quality of dometic ceramic products is still under average level.

INSPIRATION After preliminary investigation, I finally chose two main elements. ‘Niche for Buddha’ is representative Buddhism holidom. ‘Gold Cup of Tang Dynasty ’is obviously for nobilities. At that time, not just itself, even the usage of it is full of sense of ceremony. Designing with the greatest taste of Tang Dynasty’s beauty-appreciation, it tells the classical beauty of Chinese culture.

TARGET CUSTOMER My target customers are middle-aged people who love tea, tea culture and the spirit of tea.Because these people can afford it, and they love to buy design products with cultural backgrounds.

SKETCHING My spark comes from Gold Cup of Tang Dynasty.

This tureen has 7 reliefs which are borrowed from Niche for Buddha. Tang Dynastyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s people adored sonsy elements, and that my intention of making it plump. The glaze of this cup is pure as cream and white as snow which makes the whole cup has the impression of peace.


MODELING In the modeling process, I encountered problem when I using Rhino. When I adjusted the spline, I found difficulty in finding a perfect curve. Fortunately,after communication with my teacher, I figured out this problem.

WORKSHOP After settled the final draft, I used Epoxy Tooling Board for prototyping via CNC Manufacturing Machine and polished it for smearing the mold release agent. Then I made the mold with this model. Grouting the liquid material to the mold and waiting for solidification are the last two steps before 1250â&#x201E;&#x192; glazing firing.

FINAL Ultimately, the cup based on Buddhism culture contain two stages: explore cultural background, fired ceramic materials. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s a kind of exploration in the stage of victory.

Stray animals are now very common, and many pets have become lost for a variety of reasons. In my junior year, I had a chance to work as a voluntary in Beijing Liangxiang Wang Grandpa Stray Animal Rescue Station for a while, it triggered my deep thought, is there any way to help these rescued animals? Is there any way to reduce the loss of pet? So, after that, I participated in the "1 DOLLER'S WARM" charity program, which is a series where I attempted to solve the problem of stray animals.

BACKGROUND These pictures were taken while I was volunteering. According to statistics, 65.5% of the people who saw stray animals in the streets and 75.76% thought they were very dirty when they met them, but these animals did not attack humans. There are 80 million dogs in the United States. According to official statistics, over 8 million pets are eventually getting in shelters throughout the country each year. This data is very large. So, what can I do?

PROBLEM ANALYSIS Through analyzing, I summarized the risk that some pets may encounter after going out.

FINAL 1.Combining the dog chain with ballon makes the chain can float up, it also can solve dogs’missing problem. 2.This cat litter is designed to allow cats to enjoy the fun of any form of play and rest at any time in a crowded situation. Use modular form of the building blocks, randomly mix and match, the colorful appearance is full of fashion and childlike feeling. Which use the concept of "drill", so that cats can feel the fun of playing. With the increase of the number of stray cat in help centers, there will be enough rooms for them to live and play just by matching. This is also a good way to save space at home.

CHARITABLE EVENTS Cooperated with ICTA(Idea Comes True Awards), Switzerland, we achieved One Doller's Warm and received feedback for the Love Home with votes from the participants on the internet. All the money risen from this project were donated to Uncle Wang Stray Animal Charity, Beijing. During Beijing International Film Festival, we organized a 10-day sales for those stray angels. At the Formula-E Race held by ACCD(ArtCenter College of Design), U.S., we sold our souvenirs again on the roadshow days and won the Best Public Benefit Award in that race. Until nowďź&#x152;I am still doing what I can.

I like yoga very much, especially the meditation . It is not only a way to make you healthy both physically and mentally, it is also a special method to unlock human intelligence, return to ego and purify hearts. In todayâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s society, people are busy at work, the society is fickle. People are willing to relax through massage or exercise, but all of these are physically, in fact, mentally relax is more important. Soul Rubber is based on meditation in yoga, through the control of dream and noise reduction, making the picture looks real to achieve mental massage and removing the limitation of private space.

Lucid Dream. It is means the ability to consciously alter the content and control the narrative of your dreams.

INSPIRATION Here are something about the inspiration. Watching movie“Inception”and“Doctor Strange”gives me some hint. Controlling our mind in meditation to relax at another place is a good option. By wearing this portable machine as a carrier, the convenience of using it at any time and any place can be achieved. It would be an interesting design for me to combine high tecenology together with meditation
