FORM LANGUAGE The main idea of the space is myself within myself. Usually people can recognize others outer side by their looks but they cannot easily see their inner side. By having desserts made themselves, people will have a chance to express themselves by showing their hidden side and reveal who they are. This idea is connected to the idea of peeling and revealing as a form language. The idea on the facade and overall exterior form follows the peeling and revealing idea. The exterior form’s skin got peeled and rolled up partly and the inside of the shop is revealed through the glass.

I’M FEELING EXPERIENCE When people walk and enter the Enterance they can follow the form peeling and revealing on the corner of the building. It has the shape that captures the moment of peeling.

Entrance

The peeling and revealing idea continues to the interior from its facade. The customers can see the Dessert deck and the patissier making desserts. In the Ordering Area customers can download the application with their smart phone or they can use the provided iPad. The fruit menu panels that hang from the ceiling change seasonally according to localy available seasonal fruits. Order digitally through the downloaded application. The application shows customers how their dessert will look like before they order it. When they make their selection of feelings they will see a preview of their dessert along with an indication of all the ingredients. During the time the cashier takes the customer’s orders the system sends the feeling information to the back projection wall. The back projection Graph wall indicates the customers feeling one by one and tells customers the most favored feeling of the moment.

At the same time the cashier takes a order the system sends the feeling information to the facade. A feeling created by LED lights will fill the facade and will stack one by one outside of the building. The customer’s feeling will fill the blank part of the facade logo. This indicates feelings one by one and tells the most favored feeling of the moment. These words are going to change daily, therefore it will create a different facade experience each day.

The Waterfall functions as a barrier for the outer perimeter of the park while offering other possible functions. This muffles traffic noise from the streets with the sound of falling water while serving as an aesthetic addition to the environment. The Garden area is separated into different sections distinguished by different elevaton levels for each section. The difference in elevation helps children and seniors have an easier time reaching for herbs while gardening.

Clo. Clo. depicts how a scarf wraps arount the neck. The soft fabric gives a warmth to the hardwood by gently wrapping around it. Just like how some people like to dress to express themselves, the fabricc becomes a certain voice for the wood, similar to haw fashion can be a statement, expression, or personality. The options of swivel and caster wheels make the Clo family broader.

The way how design effects our life is absolutely essential. Not only do beautiful designs craft better lives but positively influence us in terms of how we think and see. My passion in design is more than just sculpting elegant objects but to design our world as a better place.
