Featuring the best in gourmet manufacturers and innovative entrepreneurs, the Gourmet center has continually reflected the growth and evolution of the industry and its customer. Now, it is poised to unveil a new look, location and unprecedented offering— showcasing the next step in its progression—Housewares. This January, with the opening of Building WestWing, one of the newest and grandest permanent product collections debuts at AmericasMart: the Gourmet/Housewares center— designed specifically for the industry and located on Floor 8 of the new building. Within the new 1.5 million sq. ft. complex, AmericasMart boasts new product, fresh resources and more innovation—exclusively captured in its impressive Gourmet/Housewares product center, showcasing more than 60,000 square feet of nearly 200 Gourmet and Housewares

lines. The center features industry leaders and name brands like All Clad, Stonewall Kitchen, Viking, Le Creuset, Riedel, Nordicware, Mississippi Cheese Straw Factory, Plentiful Pantry, Salem Baking and more. And, with its seamless connection to the Tabletop floor in Building , the entire floor offers 140,000 square feet of like product— further strengthening product categorization and efficient buying at AmericasMart. The Gourmet/Housewares center is designed to offer open-air showroom spaces, in addition to its traditional permanent showrooms, to enable companies to display their product in smaller, open spaces and still have a permanent home. Both the permanent showrooms and open-air spaces surround a state-of-the-art, Food Networkinspired kitchen with Viking appliances, flat screen TVs and a 360-degree view of the floor. AmericasMart will host several exclusive celebrity chef appearances and cooking demonstrations during Market, and has invited the Gourmet/ Housewares exhibitors to do the

same and use the kitchen for their special events. Buyers and visitors to the floor can expect to always discover something “cooking up” in the designer kitchen—adding to the overall Market experience. This breadth of permanent product continues to be supported by the dynamic Gourmet temporaries— which are now strategically located in the same building, just a few floors below the permanent floor. This collection has experienced significant growth as well, and will now span more space than ever before. With this expansion, AmericasMart will welcome several brand new companies and anticipates a record number of total exhibitors showing in the Gourmet temporaries. The Gourmet/Housewares permanent floor—together with the Gourmet temporaries—creates an unmatched product collection that has naturally evolved and expanded, making it the Gourmet and Housewares industry’s “not to be missed” destination. And buyers will discover it first during the January 6-14, 2009 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market (temporaries: January 9-13).
