Continued from page 1 being investigated and no arrests made,” said Captain Zwane. The intersection from Chief Albert Luthuli Street and Balcomb Street to the intersection of R102 leading to the rank going up to King Shaka Road was closed with a heavy police presence. The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Willies Mchunu met the KwaDukuza Taxi Association and Maphumulo Taxi Association separately over the weekend in a bid to end the violence. “We have entered into an

agreement with both associations to fast track issuing of their operating licenses, and we expect everyone to participate in this process objectively for us to achieve stability in the industry in the Greater iLembe region,” Mchunu said. Tensions between the KwaDukuza and Maphumulo taxi associations were over the Darnall route. “Our intervention as government is to ensure that we provide a safe public transport environment for citizens. “I have made a strong appeal to both associations to immediately stop fighting and engage in dialogue,” he said.

three women By Xpress Reporter

A 25-year-old Gingindlovu man alleges that three women allegedly repeatedly raped him at gunpoint at Amananda Road on Saturday at approximately 4pm. According to KwaZulu-Natal police spokesman, Captain Thulani Zwane the incident had been reported. The man who was hitchhiking claims that each woman raped him three times in an ordeal that lasted four hours. If being violated nine times was not enough he claims the women took him on a weekend joyride. According to IOL.com, the women threatened they would contact him when they needed him again and he fears for his life. He was examined by a district surgeon. “The women looked decent. They were in their thirties; two were slim and the third one was fat.

The victim alleges that they drove the car towards Mandeni at around about 5pm before they got to Nyoni parked the car on the side of the road and spoke to each other in a language he didn't understand. “The woman, who had been sitting behind me, in a brown dress; had a gun pointed at me and I took off my shoes, pants and underwear. The Netcare 911 team provincial paramedics and the fire department arrived at the P459 in Isithebe on Friday, 4 April at around 6am to find carnage that resulted from a horrific head on collision between a car and a truck. According to Netcare spokesperson, Chris Botha, three people died and four others were injured after the two vehicles collided head-on. “The crumpled remains of the vehicles with the occupants still trapped in the twisted metal, was

found strewn over a large area of the roadway,” he said. Botha said that while firemen used the Jaws of Life to free the injured, paramedics worked tirelessly to stabilise the patients. “After triaging they found that two people had died on impact, three were critically wounded and two had sustained serious injuries.” Paramedics worked hard to resuscitate one of the critically injured patients, but despite all their efforts the patient died on the scene bringing the death toll to three. After the other injured were treated paramedics transported them to various hospitals. “Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” said Botha.

Whoonga for all Despite the publicity about the ill effects of drugs, the youth continue to get addicted and whoonga appears to be the most commonly used drug at present. On Monday, two youths appeared on charges of being in possession of 1 x straw of whoonga each. Brandon Rampersad (18), a learner at Stanger Secondary School was arrested on Saturday afternoon and Simphiwe Mchunu (18) of the infamous railway houses was arrested on Sunday. Both were granted bail and are due back at court on 19 and 20 June respectively. No gratitude A kind-hearted educator who opened her heart to the plight of a troubled youth is regretting her hospitality. Dorothy Nze alleges that when she returned home she noticed the youth was missing. The following day she looked for her gold chain and found it missing. She contacted her relative who had brought the youth to her home. When the youth was brought to her, he openly spelt out how he took the item and sold it to a Nigerian for a mere R200. The chain is valued at R2000. Upset by his betrayal she took

Trust no-one Two Doringkop youths awaiting transport at the local taxi-rank at about 8:30pm last Friday fell victim to a group of robbers. Manqoba Mkhwanazi and Simon Tembe allege they were joined by two youths whilst seated at the rank. They began a conversation and learnt that the two were also waiting for transport to the Doringkop area. After a short while, Mkhwanazi and Tembe decided to walk to the Dawnside robots to seek transport. On the way they were attacked by the two youths who were joined by another three youths. Police were in the vicinity and managed to apprehend Malusi Ngema (23). He will seek bail this week. The Russians are going Russia's strong-arm tactics in Ukraine has raised many eyebrows. One man who was not ready to let the Russians get away found himself in the dock last week. It is alleged by Patrick Ndlela that he noticed one of the staff members in possession of two kilograms of Russian sausages and four

mutton curry pies as he was leaving work. Philemon “sausage” Dube (39), a baker at Spar pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to a fine of R 5 0 0 o r 5 0 d a y s imprisonment. No April Fools Sandra Govender of Hillview felt sorry for a woman who stole from her. Rather than report her, she arranged for the woman to repay at a rate of R500 per month. On April Fool's Day, Sandra and her husband waited for the woman to arrive to make the first payment. She was met with a hostile and aggressive woman who was in the company of a male companion. She refused to pay and an argument broke out. The male companion allegedly threw a small boulder at Govender's vehicle which struck her baby on the back. The male companion who clearly came prepared for a fight allegedly struck her on the head with the flat side of his cane-knife. Rakesh Hasaram (27) of Happy Valley appeared in court last week and is due back on 16 May.

GURU GHANDI We Never Wanted Our Son To Marry This New Woman He Had Met

After meeting this new girl, our son started to spend all his hard worked earnings on her and he also started to distance himself from all his family. After reading and listening to testimonials about how amazing Guru Ghandi was and how he had helped so many families with problems. I made a call to Guru Ghandi and booked an appointment to meet him in his temple. Guru Ghandi found that this girl had cast a black magic spell on our son as well as she put a curse on my husband and me so that our son will forget us. Guru Ghandi performed a special prayer over us his parents to separate our son from this girl that had put a spell on our son and our family. He also gave us some special oils that we had to sprinkle all around the house to clear away all the evil spirits. We are now once again a happy family and my son has met a wonderful woman and they are happily married and we are expecting our first grandchild. Whether it is Business, Money, Love, Power, Luck, Protection or anything else you need to book an appointment now with Guru Ghandi for assistance. Guru Ghandi has extreme spiritual powers to assist you with any problems that you have. His divine prayers and spell casting services and techniques will empower you to overcome all obstacles in life, no matter how difficult they are. You are not alone. Let him help you he has helped and saved my family.

I recommend others who are suffering in silence to make an appointment as soon as possible for their problems. If you would like to visit Guru Ghandi Please call : 073 851 3462. FOR ADDRESS . All appointments are Private & Confidential

I was on the verge of a complete breakdown. My business was almost bankrupt, creditors were on my neck and my debtors didn’t want to pay. I was reffered to Dr Maharaj by a friend who saw how desperate I was. I had went to lots of places priests, Gurus etc and failed to get help until I decided to try Dr Maharaj as my last option. Dr Maharaj is truely sent from God. When I consulted him he told me all about myself, how I wanted to divorce and how I have been fighting with my wife everyday and all about my past. He showed me signs why I was in this situation after which we offered prayers with him. He gave me holy water to cleanse and a special oil to use during prayers. After two days my debtors started paying one by one, finances started flowing back into my business. I stopped fighting with my wife and my family is happy too. I cant do less than to thank Dr Maharaj and let the whole world know about this God sent man. Thank you Dr Maharaj. STANGER MANOR OPP ENGEN GARAGE PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL

THANK YOU DR NAICKER I spent 19 years with my husband without having a baby. I was not working only my husband was, but all the money he was getting just passed through his hands. My Mother tried so many doctors to help me but nothing happened, but it was a Friday afternoon. I was listening to the radio & people were calling from different places that he helped them. A gentleman from PMB called & said that he was broke and had no money not even to pay his rent. Even his wife has now come back to him. He now has a car & his own company. Then I said no if Dr Naicker managed to help these what about me! I was out of airtime to call Dr Naicker. When my husband came back we phoned and explained our problems to him. He said that no we should stop crying, he will help us. We went to see him and now I am the happiest lady in the world. As Mr & Mrs B Govender of Stanger are testifying. For 4 years we used to live in miserable (very unhappy, depressed discomfort) marriage. My lovely husband had totally changed into something else. We could rarely talk at home. Something simple could cause a fight. After listening to various people about MAAMA SHANAN. I visited her and she told me that my husband was in a relationship with another women, and she showed the women in the mirror and the other women had put a spell on him to ignore me and our children. MAAMA SHANAN helped me to save my family and to separate my husband from the other woman and now we are happily married and I am more inlove with my husband. The jubilant Oceanville side who advanced to the quarterfinals of the Warriors T20 KO

The Warriors Sport T20 KO went full speed ahead producing some high octane action in this weekend's matches. Tempers were flaring and stress levels were running high as every team fought till the death to secure a win or be blown out of the tournament. However, this was all done in the spirit of the game to get that adrenaline rush that only cricketers will understand. In a Pool C match between Ashrafiya and Warriors, Ashrafiya won the toss and batted first posting 118/7. Jay Joshi 31, I. Bobat 22 (2 sixes) and O. Dhoodhat (19 ) gave Warriors a rough ride and had them diving all over the park. Pick of the Warriors bowlers were Rishen Mathapershad 2/13 off 4 and Austin Govender 2/26 off 4. In reply Warriors made a credible 100/7 in their allotted overs but, lost the match by 18 runs. Skipper Riaz Mahomed (16), Keagan Govender (16), Shunmugam Chetty (15), Rishen Mathapershad(10) and Austin Govender (10) tried desperately to save the match. Maphumulo were all smiles as Doringkop handed them a walkover in their Pool B match. However, this will change as they now have to face Manor A, who are yet to play a match as they also had a walkover from their foreign rivals and are hungry for a game and a win. In Pool D, Morningside had a go at Magnum at Gledhow. Morningside took to the field first

and got off to a flying start putting on 23 runs in the first over. By the 8th over, Morningside were on 70. Skipper Iresh Hemraj put plan B into motion and managed to contain the run rate by taking out the big guns, leaving the tail to cross the finishing line on102/7. P. Rampershad (21), D. Nagiah (20), Harry Naidoo (17) and M Poobalan (16) were the thorn in Magnum's side. G. Govender and K. Padayachee both claimed 2 wickets apiece. In their innings Magnum put on their armour and went into battle to try and salvage a win. This looked within their grasp when they were on 88 after the 18th over with 15 runs for a win. After 2 singles in the 19th over Liam Luke blasted the ball for a six reducing the deficit to 7 in the last over. Morningside switched gears and turned on the heat ending Magnum's innings on 100/5. In the other Pool D match Dawnheights A entertained Flipside at Gledhow. Dawnheights went in to bat first and set a target of 93 with a loss of 9 wickets. Suhail Singh top scored with 30 (1 six). G. Balipersad (10) was the only other batsman reaching double digits. R. Perumal was the pick of the Flipside bowlers with 2/12/4. Flipside were bowled out for 61 with none of the batsmen reaching double digits. Eslin Abraham 2/9, A. Mohan 2/9 and K. Govender 2/14 were the reason for Flipside's collapse. Dawnheights will now face Morningside in the Pool D quarterfinal. Pool C had Oceanville A up

against a rampant United after the League title win. Oceanville went in to bat first and posted a moderate 125/7 at the Country Club grounds. A. Juggernath topscored with 45 (including a six) assisted by Ronald Poonsamy (18) and S. Govender (13).Pick of the United bowlers were M. Anwar 3/10/3 and Aboo Ismail 2/28/4. The writing was on the wall for United when they required 38 runs from the last 3 overs. The fighting spirit still kept them going with 25 runs to win from the last over. United ended their campaign on 106/7 giving Oceanville a 19 run victory mirroring Warriors fate. Oceanville will now face Ashrafiya in the Pool C quarter final. Oceanville B were not so lucky in their Pool A quarter final clash as Nkobongo had them crashing out of the tournament in a Country Club clash. Nkobongo wisely chose to bat first ending on 138/7 with Y. Banda on 38, S.Mlehwenazi31, I. Khoza and N. Dlamini both on 18. In reply Oceanville B were all out for 125. Cameron Naidoo made the highest score in the tournament thus far with 59 runs. Trinesh Deodhat (14) and Niven Baldeo (11) were the other batsment of note. R. Mghobozi 2/4/3 and I. Khoza 3/35 were the key wicket takers. Nkobongo are now the first team to advance to the semifinals. There will be no fixtures for the Easter weekend.Fixtures will resume on 26 April.

Warriors through to Xpress Times Easter KO finals Yet another lack lustre performance from Randsons saw them beaten for a second time this season by Warriors Sport to claim a final berth in

the Xpress Times Easter knockout tournament hosted by the KwaDukuza Volleyball Association last Thursday. The very same

thing happened to Randsons in the Top 8, beaten by Warriors in the quarter finals. Randsons boasting an almost brand new line up of

youthful players just could not gel together and allowed to many unforced errors that saw Warriors take advantage of all the loopholes. In the first set, W a r r i o r s dominated proceedings from the start and did not let Randsons in. They raced to a

comfortable 25-20 win to draw first blood. The second set commenced on the same not with Warriors stealing the lead. Randsons eventually got some game plan going and took the game to Warriors. However Warriors held on a hard fought 25-23 victory to claim the first final spot. In yet another hard fought encounter between the two traditional rivals KSST and

Grove End, the crowd were on their feet with some explosive action. However, in the end KSST proved to powerful for Grove End as they ran out 25-21, 25-23 victors to secure a spot in the semi against Titans who received a bye. The semi final between KSST and Titans took place last night but at the time of going to print, the results were not available.

TIME TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE WIITH GREAT BABA DUBE I wish I knew great Baba Dube a long time ago. I would have not wasted a lot of money by visiting lots of herbalists and doctors including Sangoma’s to sort my financial problems. I decided to visit him with my wife and my brother in law, after I heard about him through my colleague who he helped bring her husband back after 3 years of seperation and he gave us different ways but I chose the magic wallet that brings me R10 000.00 everyday and I pay him R30 000.00 every week from the R70 000.00 that I get every week (7days) and my wife chose the short boys to put money in her bank account but it was like a miracle to see R200 000.00 in her account that Baba Dube used his short boys to put money in the account and she paid him R50 000.00 while my brother in law chose to win the Lotto and Baba Dube used his powers to see the lucky numbers appearing on the draw and he won the draw and he told him to pay 30% from that money he won, There is no way we Tshabalala family can thank him other than informing the people who got financial problems about him. DON’T HESITATE JUST CALL GREAT BABA DUBE

EASTER TOURNAMENT

Favourites, Teachers Style were sent crashing out of the Xpress Times Easter knockout tournament by a resilient Darnall United in a hard fought three setter humdinger that had the supporters from both sides on their feet. The tournament was played under the banner of KwaDukuza Volleyball Association courts last Thursday. In the quarter finals Virgo also gave Teachers a scare as they fought tooth and nail with Nazir Khan's Teachers outfit. Thank you baba dube for changing my life I am NTOMBIFUTHI MKHIZE a mother of three aged 36 born in Ladysmith but now I live in Soweto and my contact number is 078 0600 796. I have been reading different testimonies in various newspapers for people that Baba Dube helped through their testimonies to be sure because I lost lots of money to different sangomas, doctors and herbalists who promised me to help me through my financial and love problems that I suffered for many years. But everyone I called gave me 100% promise and guarantee that Baba Dube will change my life like the way he did to them. Early in the morning I called him and he gave me different ways but I chose the SHORT BOYS to put R500.000 in my bank account. It happened exactly the way he said it and I paid him R100.000. After that I was very excited and asked him if I can use MAGIC WALLET to get R10,000 everyday and he promised to deliever within 24hrs so that he can show me how it works to get R10.000 everyday and asked me to pay him R30,000 per week from the R70,000 that I get everyweek for only a year . To thank Baba Dube, I introduced him to myy uncle and his wife and they chose to win LOTTO and POWERBALL. Baba Dube gave them their lucky numbers appearing on the 10th spetmeber powerball draw while his wife won the lotto on the 18th September. They both paid him 30% of their winnings. Now they use RATS tobring money into the house everyday and they pay every week. I published this testimony to thank Baba Dube for changing my life and also to inform everybody who got serious financial problems and love problems to contact Baba Dube now before you waste your money to herbalist and doctors who promise to help but fail and leave you in bigger problems than before.

they fought back to clinch the set 25-22 setting up a mouth watering third and final set. Both teams played excellent volleyball as they matched each other in all departments with Teachers holding on by a thread to win the set 15-11. That hard fought match seemed to have taken the steam off the teachers as they went down 21-25 to Duran Moodley's Darnall outfit. Teachers clawed their way back in the second set to narrowly win 25-22 to throw the game into the third and decisive set. However, Darnall proved too strong as they raced to a 15-10 victory to secure a place in the finals. Darnall await their opponents in the finals that was decided last night between Sunbrook and Cool Leaders. Sunbrook had claimed a semi final berth with a fluent two sets victory of Manor Old Boys (25-15, 2725)
