How To Update

T H ANK S G I V I NG Here are some fun and creative ways to update Thanksgiving traditions!

The Money Jar

Start this new tradition on Thanksgiving by putting all extra change into a jar until Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve take the full jar of money, pick a random house, and leave it on the doorstep. Ring the doorbell and run so they have no idea who has left them the extra money. This is sure to bring joy to anyone’s Christmas!

Filling ingredients: 8 ounce package of cream cheese 1/4 cup of granulated sugar

Happy Bread

Update the age old bread recipes this Thanksgiving

Dry Ingredients: 3 3/4 cups of bread flour 1 tablespoon active dried yeast 1 tablespoon of salt

Wet Ingredients: 1 cup of lukewarm milk 4 tablespoons of melted butter 1 egg 1 tablespoon of honey

Mix the wet ingredients (besides the egg) and the yeast together. Then mix the rest of the dry ingredients and the egg in a seperate bowl. Combine the two bowls. After mixing ingredients together, take the dough out and knead it. Then cover the bowl with a cloth for about two hours before baking.

Directions Separate the dough into three strands and bring the ends together. This is where the fun begins. Braid the three strands of dough together until there is no extra dough left. Cover this and let it sit for thirty minutes. Preheat the oven to 375F and lightly cover the braided bread with egg yolk. After this, bake the bread for 30-45 minutes.
