and action plan for realizing this new revolution while delivering his inaugural speech at his swearing-in-ceremony in Lafia Township Stadium to the huge crowd of supporters that had thronged the stadium to lend support to the change-drive. However, unlike the Northern Africa revolution which sought to drive-away sit-tight dictatorial leaders, Al-Makura's Change message is hinged on an intense desire to initiate and install an uneven growth and development, so as to better the lots of the people of the State. “The oath I have just taken marks a fresh start in the life of our State, which in the 14 years since its creation has been held hostage to the folly and excesses of its rulers. That we are in stagnation, even decline and decay is self-evident. We are caught up in a grave moral and ethical crisis. Our State institutions are poorly managed, our infrastructures dilapidated, while our economy is weak-the result of myopia, greed and irresponsibility on the part of some,� he said, shortly after taken his oath of office.
