News from Black Mountains Lions know as The Gliss Project. Over the following months plans, quotations, grants & negotiations with Welsh Water enabling this project to commence. The Black Mountains Lions were contacted & generously supported this project.The Council are indebted to their generosity & were privileged to receive their donation. Several years ago Hay Town Council Estates Committee proposed a development of access to the river for canoeists, able bodied & disabled alike, for disembarkation. This was also followed up by the suggestion of creating a disabled & child friendly fishing area. Permission was granted for the committee to go ahead with the project which became
