JUNGFRAUBAHN From Interlaken, a city that is so named since 1891, to bring order to the different denominations that made reference, as AarmĂźhle, Interlappen or Interlacus and frequent confusion originated with tourists, which at that time came to the area , began to stretch out the rails towards the mountains near the Jungfrau. On 15 May 1893 the line was opened, starting from Wilderswil up to Schynige Platte.
