 Every high school in Hillsborough County appeared on the America's Most Challenging High Schools ranking, which previously was referred to as America's Best High Schools. (The Washington Post, 06-02-12)  Private National Mortgage Acceptance Co. LLC, (PennyMac), announced plans to open a Tampa office and hire approximately 100 employees, which will include underwriters, appraisers, and auditors. PennyMac was created to address dislocations in the U.S. mortgage market. (Tampa Bay Business Journal, 06-07-12)  The Tampa Port Authority announced the signing of a 20-year lease agreement with NexLube Tampa, LLC. NexLube will invest $80 million to develop and construct a recycling facility capable of processing up to 24 million gallons of used oil per year. The facility will be the first of its kind in Florida. (Tampa Port Authority, 06-07-12)  Skanska and Ajax Paving Industries were awarded a $215 million contract from the Florida Department of Transportation to design and reconstruct portions of I-275 that run through the heart of Tampa. Work will begin in July 2012 and scheduled for completion in July 2016. (Skanska USA, 06-14-12)  Trammell Crow Co. announced plans to build SouthGate Tower, a 20-story office building with a 1,200-car parking garage early next year.
