Participants are welcome to enjoy the walk itself, or come equipped with notebooks, sketchpads or smart phones to engage creatively with the place, community and experience.

Poet Professor Philip Gross and artist Valerie Coffin Price walk the alluvial landscape of the middle reaches of the Taff, exploring their collaboration in the 2015 title A Fold in the River (Seren). Reflecting on this unexpectedly beautiful and secret corner of the South Wales Valleys, they will consider its physicality, traces of its industrial social history and artistic responses to it, whilst unfurling the experience of working together.
