The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission is an Autonomous Body set up under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India primarily with the objectives of regularly updating the Indian Pharmacopoeia by publishing new edition and its Addenda, National Formulary of India and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of Reference Substances. The Commission (IPC) is looking for qualified Pharmacopoeial Associates, to be engaged purely on contract basis, by holding a walk-in-interview:Name of the Post: Pharmacopoeial Associate (Scientific): 02 Posts Qualification & Experience: Master degree in Microbiology or equivalent having experience in drug analysis in the field of Microbiology. Preference will be given to young dynamic personnel having experience in Sterility testing, Microbial Limit testing, Microbial Assay of Antibiotics and Bacterial Endotoxin Testing. Applicant should possess practical knowledge of computer applications and internet usages. Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Remuneration: Rs.25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) Period of Engagement: The initial term of engagement will be for a period of one year, through an outsourced agency, and, subsequent extension, if any, can be considered on case to case basis depending on the job requirement and subject to fulfilment of performance evaluation. Nature of Duties: Microbiological Analysis of Drugs & Pharmaceutical Products (Sterility testing, Microbial Limit testing, Microbial Assay of Antibiotics and Bacterial Endotoxin Testing).
