VACANCY NOTICE
JRF POSITION AVAILABLE Position is available in the DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research in the lab of Dr. Syed Shams Yazdani. The position is available initially for one year with annual extensions based on performance and achieving project objectives. Please note that this is temporary project position whose duration is only for the tenure of the DBT-funded project. The salary will be as per DBT/DST norms, based on qualification and experience. Job description: The selected candidate will be working on “genetic engineering of fungal host for the production of cellulase for biofuel industry”. Qualifications: The incumbent should have M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology or related area and must have qualified CSIR UGC-JRF/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF. Experience in yeast/fungal molecular biology and microbial cultivation is preferred. Prior experience of genetic engineering and biochemical techniques etc. are of added advantage.
