ONLINE-INTERVIEW Applications are invited to attend the "Interview (online through video conferencing in Zoom)" for the positions of 2 (Two) Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under DBT funded Research Project entitled ‘‘Identification of QTL(s) for Fruit Quality Trait(s) in Mango (Mangifera indica L.)” (upto September 2021) at ICAR- IARI, Pusa, New Delhi as mentioned below.

Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, the eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma (Annexure I) along with scanned copy of the original documents through email to head_fht@iari.res.in and msrivastav@iari.res.in by August 17, 2020. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed for further details regarding interview by email or over phone. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Terms and Conditions: 1. Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

2. For details of the qualifications and other requirements please refer DST SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated 21.11.2014 and ICAR Office Memo No. Edn/6/27/2014/HRD dated 13.6.2015 and Agrl.

Edn./6/27/2014-HRD dated 9.11.2015. The emolument of SRFs will be as per DBT rule.

3. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to 31 st March 2021, but may be extended further based on availability of funds/ on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project.

4. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at the Institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.

1. The Interview of eligible candidates will be held according to schedule given above.

2. Candidates should bring their complete bio-data, duly self-attested certificates and mark sheets (From Class X onwards), experience certificate and no objection certificate from their current employer at the time of appointment. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be selected for the interview. For virtual interview process, shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or phone regarding terms and conditions of selection and mode of interaction.

3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

4. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be interviewed.

5. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.

6. The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration.

7. The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach the Head Division of Fruits & Horticultural Technology, ICARIARI, New Delhi (head_fht@iari.res.in) by 17 August, 2020. If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidates will not be allowed for interview.

8. All the other candidates are also required to compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed and submitted on the date.
