Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 Advertisement No: 610 /2020 Director, CNCI, Kolkata invites interested applicants for attending an online interview for one (01) vacant posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Development of therapeutic peptides for blocking interactions between Hepatitis B and host cellular proteins related with regulatory signaling pathways in hepatocellular carcinoma: A proteomic approach deciphering host-pathogen protein interactive network” under Dr. Avik Biswas, Principal Investigator in the Department of Signal transduction and Biogenic Amines, CNCI. 1. Post: Junior Research Fellow (01) 2. Essential Qualification: M.Sc in any branch of Life Sciences with more than 60% marks from any UGC-recognized University / Institute along with CSIR-UGC NET (LS) / GATE/ ICMR-JRF. Desirable qualification: Candidates with knowledge/experience in virology / basic protein chemistry will be given preference. 3. Age limits: 28 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped for five years as per Govt. of India rules subject to production of suitable certificates from the competent authority). 4. Fellowship: Basic pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA @ 24% on the basic pay; Total Rs. 38440/- for the first year. Based on the performance of the project the duration of the fellowship may be extended for another one year.
