Welcome to our November/December Newsletter First of all, we would like to thank you all for your support, especially those of you who have been recommending us to your friends. The group is now very popular and well attended. The downside of this is that we will need to start limiting numbers attending to ensure that the children have enough room to play safely and so that you can see them easily to supervise them while they are playing. Please remember that you are responsible for your children during the session.
Help Wanted We have a good team of volunteers who are helping to support the group but we do need more so that people don’t need to be tied to coming every week. We would be very grateful to anyone who would like to come early to help set out the toys, stay to help put things away or to help in any other way. Please speak to Christine for more information.
ICAN Treasure Humf We have sent ICAN £10 for the Treasure Humf. Thank you to all those who joined in.
Our first Book Club Order has just arrived. Look out for the next leaflets which will be arriving shortly. It’s a good opportunity to buy some books for Christmas
Snack time We would like to thank Hilary and Linda who prepare and serve the coffee and children’s snack each week. We have been offering a variety of different foods for your children to try. Please help them to choose their snack and to try it. It would help us if you support them to take what they need to prevent waste and to ensure that there is enough to go round.
Children in Need We will be supporting the Children in Need Appeal with a Pudsey Bear Picnic on Thursday 15th November. Bring along a teddy bear to join in. We will collect donations for the appeal during the morning.
