If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be? The only lover in the whole life. I always believe that we all need to find our own co-pilot, and try to share our most important moment in our life with the people we love.
What's your favorite place to eat? Family’s Kitchen. I guess we all had experience of getting dinner or lunch at this or that restaurant, we have tried this 5 star store or that famous indigenous unique place. Yet I still think the only place I love is Family’s Kitchen, maybe it is not the food I am looking for, but the family is our emotional anchor for every one’s life.
What is your worst quality? Sometimes I have a hard time being patient. At work, we have big goals and sometimes I let my expectations get in front of my interactions with those around me.
If we went to your house and looked inside your refrigerator, what would we find? Drinks: you’d mainly find whiskey, vodka, Baijiu (Chinese white wine), and beer. Not much food.
What do you most like to wear when you're not in the office? Black shirt, black jeans like normal. It’s simple and doesn’t take a lot of effort. I try to buy five or ten of each at a time so that I don’t have to decide.
When did you screw everything up, but no one ever found out it was you? I’m not going to say that there wasn’t a time when I didn’t screw everything up- I did. There was never a time when I wasn’t honest about my shortcomings; I always try to take responsibility for my mistakes.
DEAR TEACHERS July is a special month for PK Fish of Wuhao Technology. We’re celebrating our first 100 teachers! Although our story is still flourishing, CEO and Co-Founder Liu Yang founded PK Fish in order to provide accessible English language education to Chinese children of all backgrounds, while building a bridge between the United States and China. With this ambitious dream, PK Fish officially commenced in January of 2018 in our humble office in Beijing. In March, our first teacher joined the PK Fish community. The month of April was a challenging for our recruitment staff; over 20 days passed until the next teacher was recruited. Throughout the month of May we assembled a teacher management team of experienced professionals and launched our teacher referral program. As July comes to a close, we are extremely proud to recognize our first cohort of 100 teachers. Thanks to your tremendous hard work and leadership, WE DID IT! We are so grateful to each and everyone of our teachers, who through your generosity and enduring commitment, have helped us achieve 100 teachers. Now that we have accomplished our first goal, PK Fish wants to set the bar even higher. By the end of the year, we want to reach the milestone of 1000 teachers! You have contributed time, energy, and feedback to help improve PK Fish. We also want to thank you for enduring technical difficulties and time zone differences. As a new and developing company, we appreciate your admirable versatility and support as we continue through this rewarding journey together. It is with deep gratitude that we toast to the individual and collective contributions of our wonderful teachers! Keep Swimming!Â
