Start Wherever You Are At NexStep Alliance provides adult education classes, such as GED classes, an Accelerating Opportunity Kansas (A-OK) program with tuition-free college classes, ESL classes, and other community services, at little or no cost to participants. Students can get on a career path they are proud of when they earn their high school diploma and college certifications or transferable college credits at the same time through the A-OK initiative. Through NexStep Alliance, students may be eligible to participate in college or technical school with no tuition costs while they study for the GED exam, or they may use credits to earn their diploma without taking the GED exam. NexStep Alliance is dedicated to preparing students for the career they desire. Knowledge and skills are just the beginning.

Helping Students Achieve Their Dreams The WSU Tech Foundation helps to change the lives of students through scholarships, emergency loans and other student-focused initiatives thanks to generous private gifts, community contributions, and employee support. It’s no secret that students pursuing higher education face mounting financial challenges. During a typical year, the Foundation and College provide financial support and scholarships to more than 150 WSU Tech students. A gift to the WSU Tech Foundation gives students the opportunity to gain the education and experience to fill the talent pipeline in our community. Every gift makes a world of difference in the life of a WSU Tech student.
