CIRCUIT

WELCOME TO BAHRAIN The 2016 edition of CIK-FIA World Championship and the CIK-FIA World Junior Championship will take place in a privileged location: the Bahrain International Kart Circuit, placed in the context of the complex that also hosts the Formula 1 GP. The Bahrain International Kart Circuit opened its doors in March 2011 and it immediately became a reference point for karting not only in the “Middle East” but also internationally. In fact, in 2012, the first championship ever held in the Middle East Karting world took place here, as well as the first CIK-FIA race held at night. On this occasion, it was the CIK-FIA U18 World Championship and Academy Trophy that got on track, while the following year the circuit was the scene of the second and decisive round of the KF and KFJ World Championship.
