WSC 180D-01 Bohemian New York: Voices that Shaped the 20th Century Using a combination of literary, historical, theatrical, musical, and artistic sources, weâ€™ll explore the political and cultural significance of the Bohemian movement in New York. Classroom discussion, research, Socratic Seminar, in-class writing exercises, and field trips will provide students with an understanding of how the voices of the American Modern shaped the twentieth century.
