Safeguarding At Wembley Primary School we are committed to the welfare and safety of our children. We have a number of policies in place to keep everyone safe and happy. These include; Child Protection, Positive Behaviour, Anti-Bullying, E safety Policy and Educational Visits Policy. If you would like a copy of any of these please speak to our receptionists. Our Designated Teacher for Child Protection is Mrs Taylor-Kent. _________________________________ Jeans for Genes Day- Friday 5th October We have signed up to take part in Jeans for Genes Day again this year. Everyone is welcome to wear jeans to school on that day for a small donation. All monies will go towards making a difference for children across the UK living with genetic disorders.

Don’t forget to make an appointment for Parents’ evenings on Wednesday 3rd October and Thursday 4th October. It is an opportunity to meet your child’s new teacher and discuss your child’s progress and future targets. This term, following feedback from the parents’ questionnaire, a written report will be given to each parent. This will include information on your child’s current levels and targets.

We Need You ! Our Governing Body currently has three vacancies for Parent Governors. No special qualifications are required. Enthusiasm, commitment and an interest in education are the most important qualities. It is incredibly rewarding; becoming a Governor is a way of making a positive contribution to your child’s school. We support all new Governors with relevant training and induction. If you are interested please see a member of the senior leadership team by Friday 28th September.
