Outback Australia Mission - June 2008

Upcoming Missions

If you can imagine a convoy of 4X4 vehicles with trailers charging across the desert roads of Central Australia in a cloud of bull dust... that will be us in June!!! A crowd of white fella's and black fella's ministering together in the Name of Jesus. Please pray for us as we prepare for the trip. The conditions are extreme and the desert is unforgiving on vehicles and equipment. This will be classic bush style ministry! All you need is a Bible and an acoustic guitar!!! And a warm swag!! Temperatures get down to freezing at night but these adventures are what evangelism is all about in Australia so we value your prayers and God's provision and protection. Check out the web site for more details.

World Missions Planning Conference Report 22nd February, 2008 In late February a team of good friends and supporters gathered together in Auburn, California at the Village Care International headquarters. The purpose: To pray and to plan the best way World Missions International could begin to develop missions and evangelism work across the globe. We are so grateful to all those who attended and contributed to the early stages of this ministry. We are confident the Lord will continue to provide the people and resources to accomplish the task ahead. These are significant times as we begin to pioneer missions trips in conjunction with concert tours in the USA, Australia, the South Pacific, Africa and beyond. Thanks for partnering with us in the journey. *If you would like to get involved email

Classic Hymns & Songs Project 20 years ago when I recorded my first big budget studio album "Children of the Western World" I took a verse and chorus of the the famous hymn "On Christ the Solid Rock I stand" and made it the final track. I remember back then dreaming of recording a complete collection of some of those great standards many of us grew up singing in church. Timeless songs of God's everlasting love for us all. Well... 20 years on and the dream is becoming a reality! With some very determined encouragement by my good friend Bob Somma in Southern California, the project is forging ahead by faith. We step into the studio in April to begin bed tracks on songs like "How Great Thou Art", "Great is Thy Faithfulness" and "Down At the Cross". And Yes! 20 years on and we are trusting the Lord for another miracle project. We value your prayers for God's provision in the production, manufacturing and marketing of this new album. The budget we estimate at $20,000. *Gifts towards this project are tax deductible.

The Blessing of Giving World Missions International is now a 501c3 Non Profit organization. All Donations are tax deductible whether financial giving or even vehicles, we can now provide a tax deductible statement at the end of each financial year.

Jordan Grace Jordan has recorded his first 5 track album, “Way of Life", produced by Danny Donnelly. It's available via his website or iTunes Music Store.

Papua New Guinea Mission - July 2008 Our burden for the people of PNG is strong in our hearts. We are still believing to take a small team in July and do some concerts up in the highlands. Pray with us as we prepare. There is an offer to fly to PNG in a Cessna 210 and cover the nation in far less time than our original plan of driving (which is always unpredictable and often dangerous in PNG). The cost for the plane is $8,000 for 2 w e e k s a n d fl y i n g would be a great benefit to us in fulfilling all of the invitations we have.

Thank You Black Sheep Black Sheep Motorcycle Ministries is an amazing crowd of Harley Davidson riders who live for Jesus Christ. They have chapters across many States of the USA and a vision to build a great work in Australia. Their support of Shaun Matheson and his family in recent months is an incredible example of God's love for a downed biker. Financial and practical gifts, emails and prayers have helped a family through a very difficult time. Shaun is the founding member of Black Sheep Australia and Pastor of Integrity Christian Church, Palm Beach. Check out for the miracle story of Shaun's accident in January. To all Black Sheep. Thank you in Jesus Name.

Swags for the Outback As mentioned earlier, we are gearing up for mission work in the outback. Our plan is to have a complete self-sufficient Outback camping set for the mission work beyond the Black Stump. Part of the plan included the purchase of swags-to date we have 10 swags but need 20 more to "house" the whole team of people going to the Outback in June and August. Thanks to everyone who has donated toward this vision!  If you don't know what a swag is, the best description is a canvas outdoor sleeping bag that protects you from harsh weather conditions, snakes and spiders.   If you would like to donate a swag for the upcoming mission trips to the Outback, please visit our website!
