In the spring of 2008 World Archipelago were appointed with a clear brief to enhance the Carter Jonas digital brand, drive monetisation from digital channels and help ‘connect’ the various divisions.

Carter Jonas wanted to better reflect the diverse nature of its business; but above all it was the desire to connect the various disciplines, benefiting from improved cross-divisional opportunities, that stood out as a unique opportunity to really differentiate Carter Jonas in the marketplace. Our focus was to pursue innovation in a meaningful way to create real value across the business. We did so by involving the business every step of the way and ensuring the very latest property search innovations and customer choices were prevalent throughout.

01 Homepage The new homepage features 6 property search options, each with an associated member of the Carter Jonas team chosen to reflect a supporting service to the main property search, i.e. Building Surveying & Project Management aligned with Residential, or London Residiential associated with International.

02 - 06 Property search results Visitors to the site can choose from 4 property results views; List view, Map view, Gallery view, and Table summary view. 04 Full details The full details view slides over the the previous property search results and features the ‘cover flow’ feature allowing viewers to gracefully slide through large, quality imagery.


Connecting meaningfully with clients & customers Geoff Issit, Head of Building Surveying & Project Management Geoff was one of 6 featured staff members chosen to reflect the diversity of the Carter Jonas business. Each member was selected to compliment the property search option presented.

World Archipelago have helped steer our digital strategy over the last 12 months culminating in our brand new site.
