Medicine Hat facility: We are Canada’s largest nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing complex, providing vital nutrients to farmers throughout western Canada and the northern tier of the United States. We operate two Kellogg Ammonia Plants and one Stamicarbon Urea Plant.

• Proven technical and supervisory skills in a plant environment, mentoring and coaching • Demonstrated experience in the application of continuous quality improvement principles • The individual also must have proven business abilities, leadership and managerial skills • Legally eligible to work in Canada • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The role: We are seeking a technically astute engineer with proven people leading skills to head our well established engineering group. Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for administering and coordinating all engineering activities on the plant site to ensure reliability of equipment and operations. Eng designation or eligibility (for more information on whether you would qualify, please see the governing body APEGA.com) • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in a Petrochemical or refining industry. Preference will be given to fertilizer manufacturing experience
