Seventy-five percent of students change their major at least once before graduation, a statistic I can truly visualize. Everybody around me wants out of their major. This major is too competitive. This major won’t get me a job. I should’ve been comp sci. How did a majority of us end up choosing to study something we don’t want to? Why do most of us switch majors?
