How To Find Us Access The Workshop aims to be as accessible as possible and we are committed to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible, although the historic building is not easy to navigate. The theatre and cellar spaces are located downstairs and the painting studio upstairs from the ground floor. Although we have stair lifts, we would advise anyone who may need assistance to contact us in advance so that we can be ready to help. Disabled people may also bring a personal assistant for free. There is also a reserved parking space for blue badge holders, although we are not able to guarantee that it will be free. Disabled toilet facilities are available on the ground floor. Assistance dogs are welcome and can be cared for during performances by arrangement. Induction loops are fitted in the theatre, painting studio and ceramics studio. Physical Activities If you are attending a class involving any form of physical exertion, we recommend that you seek medical advice if you have a history of any relevant illness, or if you are taking any medication.We welcome your comments on our programme of performances, events, exhibitions and courses, and value your feedback, comments and suggestions to help us improve and plan for the future. Room Hire Hiring rooms at the Workshop The Workshop has a theatre which can accommodate up to 150 people, depending on how it is configured and a flexible and atmospheric cellar space seating up to 50, both available for hire by individuals or groups. The theatre is equipped with a sound and lighting system for which technical support and advice is available.


Café Bliss Opens Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 7pm Cafe Bliss is situated in the gallery space of the WAW. The Belizean chef ‘Ms Bliss’ welcomes you to take time-out in an Inspiring space & experience her menu with influences from the Caribbean & Mexico. Amanda & Eloina have made it their mission to find fresh, ethical ingredients sourced whenever possible from local farms & businesses. Here is just a small sample of the fabulous, homemade food on offer. Enchiladas. A rolled tortilla filled with roasted peppers, onions, herbs, baked in a homemade tomato sauce with Mexican cheese. Topped with homemade guacamole & sour cream.(V) Tostadas. 4 tortillas hand cut to size, cooked with a generous topping of homemade cool Mexican red bean spread, poached free range chicken, diced tomatoes, guacamole & sour cream. Sopa de Lima.This clear soup has been created using a whole free range chicken with lime, coriander, avocado & tomato. Prawn Ceviche.The Incas preserved their sea food with fruit juice, salt and chilli peppers, and later the Spanish conquerors introduced the now essential limes. A refreshing light dish with corrianda. Squash Soup..A blend of butternut squash & local seasonal vegetables creating a winter warmer that’s colourful & smooth. Café Bliss The Cafe is licensed and also serves pre-performance meals and can cater for one-off special occasions. Look out for the full range of special and themed events, which will be taking place in the cafe influenced by the workshop calendar. Join us every second Sunday of the month for a ‘Lazy Sunday’ between midday and 4pm. Watercolour and acrylic paintings in a tribute to the late Worcester Arts Workshop artist, Diana Scott. ‘Nathaniel Kara’. Inspired by 60’s Hockney, Nathaniel creates with simple imagery, urban landscapes displaying scenes that don't make obvious subjects: empty streets, industrial settings and other forgotten corners of towns and cities: places we often pass by and take for granted.
