It is important when ordering and booking installations that sufficient time is allowed between product delivery date and installation date for the checking of goods and, if required, the re-delivery of any rejected or damaged items.
Over 90% of the products shown in this brochure are held in stock and are dispatched within 48 hours of ordering, (up to 72 hours for parts of Scotland and more remote parts of the UK). Please check expected delivery dates at the time of ordering for any time-critical items.

All carcasses are made from 18mm furniture grade MFC and supplied ready assembled. They come complete with hinges, wall hanging brackets and other necessary fittings. Door and fascia panels are packed separately for fitting once the carcasses are installed to help avoid damage. Doors are pre-drilled for hinges. Unit dimensions given are overall including fascias.
All plinths, fitter or decor panels and handles must be ordered separately unless otherwise stated.
All Veldeau bathroom furniture fascia panels have a furniture grade MDF core. Any exposure of the MDF core through cutting must be sealed with a proprietary sealant such as PVA or silicone to maintain the warranty.
Slimline basin units in bathrooms will require reduced-depth semi recessed basins. Veldeau units are designed at a height to allow good access underneath the carcases to run any pipework required.
Due to space restrictions on slimline units, the rear legs should be removed to run a soil pipe through, and rigidity is maintained by the front legs and wall fixing.

All our concealed WC cisterns are suitable for front access servicing. If other manufacturer’s concealed cisterns are used, service accessibility should be checked.
Taking Care of Your Veldeau Products
By following some simple care and cleaning guidelines, Veldeau products can be expected to give many years of enjoyable and trouble-free service.
Veldeau Bathrooms are designed to be used within domestic environments. As with all timber based products, ventilation is key, and your bathroom furniture will be adversely affected if subject to excessive moisture on the surface or in the atmosphere. It is strongly recommended that a suitable bathroom extractor fan is installed to prevent condensation building up and to prevent damage to the furniture.
Veldeau Bathrooms timber based fitted furniture must never be installed in a wet-room situation.
Returns Policy
Any damaged or unwanted items must be reported within 7 days and made available for collection within 28 days. Any items ordered and delivered in good faith but no longer required will be subject to a 25% handling and re-stocking charge.
Non-required items can only be accepted for return if:
• They are returned in original packaging.
• They have not been fitted in any way (this would include legs fitted onto carcasses).
• They are in re-saleable condition.
It is most important that any cut or exposed panel edge, and any floor or wall abutment with furniture or sanitaryware must be sealed with a waterproof sealant such as silicone to avoid the possibility of water ingress and damage.
All water spills and sprays must be wiped clean and mopped dry immediately to prevent water marks or other damage.
Never use chemical or abrasive cleaners, bleach or furniture polishes on any bathroom furniture as the finish can be affected. Clean only with a soft damp cloth and a mild soap solution as necessary.
All Veldeau cast basins are made from a mineral powder/ polyester resin. The surface is protected by gel coat which is at least 0.5mm in thickness. Clean and care for your top with a normal liquid detergent (do not use detergents containing abrasives) and buff with a good quality polish to keep your cast top in tip-top condition.
Postformed Laminate Worktops have a 22mm chipboard core and are supplied with a length of matching edging for re-sealing when cut.
Bath side and end panels are supplied in 2 parts to give height adjustment so they can be suited to any standard bath.
Picking or Delivery Errors & Manufacturing Defects must also be reported within 7 days and made available for collection within 28 days.
Credit will be given once the goods are received back, inspected and signed off.
Any goods under this policy should be returned to the retailer that they were purchased from.
CERAMIC SANITARYWARE - Clean with a damp cloth and warm soapy water. Rinse with clean water and polish with a soft cloth. Avoid using cleaners that contain abrasive solvents, acid or ammonia.
BRASSWARE - Clean with a damp cloth, rinse clean and polish with a dry cloth. Avoid using cleaners that contain abrasive solvents, acid or ammonia.
DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE - Due to the nature of materials and production processes, dimensions may vary within a tolerance of ± 2mm on furniture, ± 3mm on cast basins and ± 5mm on ceramic.

Approval or Refusal:
Once returned goods are received and inspected as per terms above, credit will either be approved or refused. If refused, a credit refusal number is assigned, and a written reason given and sent by email. Goods will then be held for 7 days before disposal. Any query regarding the refusal must be logged during this 7-day period.
