About 120 residents of all ages gave themselves over to the local experts for body and mind improvement at the free crash course “Health Hour” organized by Eric Barthels of Cooldown Juice, sponsored by Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce, of which he is a board member, on Sunday at “Lowery Plaza,” under the 40th Lowery Street 7 Station in Sunnyside.Eric assembled a variety of practitioners. Among them were agile Supreme Team Boxing Coach Nelson and his ultra-toned staff. Nelson managed to get attendees, including female seniors, dodging and weaving and administering some impressive air right hooks. Jennifer Colton, a holistic therapist with

a calming, cheerful manner and seemed to be able to relate instantly to anyone, gave relaxation tips. A local runner showed the moves recommended from Sunnyside Woodside Runners, led by Ann Sansaricq, who radiated energy and good will.“I was surprised,” said a young man who works in Manhattan and recently moved to Sunnyside. “This was not a typical thing.” He said he had tried the quick techniques to refresh of Postural Therapist Nathalie Graniela, gently lifting the back of the head with one’s thumbs. “I think it did something.
