10 WOODBURY COMMUNITY PLAYING FIELDS UPDATE Woodbury Community Playing Fields have recently been awarded money from the following donors to put towards improving children's play area - fantastic news for the local community! ¨ The Norman Family Charitable Trust - £1000 ¨ Viscount Amory’s Charitable Trust - £350 ¨ South West Water - £250 ¨ Follies - £300 ¨ Broadmead Trust - £250 ¨ Woodbury Parish Council - £459 Thank you very much for these generous contributions, our website shows how much we have raised so far and how much we still require to improve the facilities. If you would personally like to contribute, there is a link on our website to donate money – every little bit helps! www.wcpf.co.uk We have also been successful in first stage to receive sport money from East Devon to help provide a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) on the playing field. This has now been put forward by East Devon for public consultation with residents and will shortly go through a voting process. Look out for more details on our website or Facebook page! * WANTED * Committee Members to join Woodbury Community Playing Fields We are still continuing to pursue other funding streams and are working hard on behalf of all the users of the playing field. However this is a large project and we require more involvement from the local community. We are in the process of applying for larger grants and we need community members with relevant skills and expertise in this area to join our team of hard working members to help improve facilities on the large playing field.
