Women of the Western Communities Monthly Newsletter October 2016 Hello Ladies! Our 2015-2016 season is off to a wonderful start. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about all of you with our paper airplane game. I am looking forward to all of the fun meetings that the Board is putting together! The donations for Harmony House were incredible. I believe that we loaded Allyson’s car to the brim with school supplies. Thank you all! I hope that you have all had a chance to check out our amazing website! Here are just a few photos from our first meeting, compliments of Denise Fleischman.

Reminders
Our donation for the month of October is Health and Beauty items. These items include soaps, hair products, oral hygiene products, pain relievers, deodorants, shaving needs, make up and so on. While not required, these donations are so helpful and very much appreciated.
Our December Chinese Auction is around the corner. Remember that all of the money spent on raffle tickets goes directly to the club missions. Now is the time to clean out your re-gifting closet. Donation items may include new and gently used items. These items can include house wares, handbags, jewelry, and gift cards. I would also like to take the chance to give you a heads up for out November meeting, as the Thanksgiving sales begin soon. The donation for this meeting is the nonperishable items for our Thanksgiving baskets. This includes stuffing, yams, corn, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, French-fried onions, gravy, and instant mashed potatoes. We will also be collecting cash or gift cards to purchase the turkeys right before delivery of the baskets.
