Rebuilding and Reshaping Lives “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”. (Jeremiah 29:11) Living Bible Version) Women of Destiny Ministries Summit 2010 - GATHERING OF CHAMPIONS will be specifically for women, men and young adults who have experienced or been effected by emotional or physical abuse, addictions, HIV, deferred dreams and single parenting issues. This summit will provide an intimate environment that will be spiritually safe for people to share, discuss and develop the insight required on how to manage the stresses through a personal relationship with God. This is not another conference where we become emotional and walk away with information and yet our issues are not addressed. I believe that this is the season whereby God is calling His Leaders and people to a higher accountability. He wants us not only to be healed but WHOLE. Our objectives are to provide this opportunity for people who are interested to participate in this summit regardless of financial obstacles, additionally, to become enlighten about their issues and that may go unaddressed in some places of worship due to lack of limited resources. The summit will include a forum and a worship experience. The forum will address HIV & Sexuality, Domestic Violence/Abuse, Deferred Dreams, Single Parenting and Families in Recovery and the impact it has on an individual as well as family members. Panel members will attempt to begin the healing process by helping those who participate understand that they are not alone or isolated with their issues and that their relationship with God is the first step in taking care of themselves emotionally and physically. The spiritual session will help the participant to understand that worship is similar to aftercare, follow-up and the entrance to their road to destiny. Since God called this summit it is a pronounced blessing that each person will leave this summit with not only the tools and resources required to overcome these challenges and most importantly they will have a better understanding of thief purpose in life and can become a Champion, a Champion to others and a Champion to themselves for overcoming all life’s challenges through a greater connection with God. “Life turned the corner an d I turned with Life. I t’s refreshing to feel the wind blowing in my face, the winds of change and freedom .” – Gloria J. Smalls

Keynote Speakers: Gloria J. Smalls Gloria is the visionary of Women of Destiny Ministries, Inc. She became a passionate advocate for families affected by abusive relationships during her work at Pivot ministries, Inc., a drug and alcohol inpatient program for men in Fairfield County. She served as the President of the International Women’s Department of the Soul Saving Station. Gloria also spearheaded a ministry in Southern New Jersey called The South Jersey Women’s Ministry; which hosted conferences, seminars and workshops as well as training women to develop women outreach ministries in their churches. Gloria was very active in Women’s Aglow, a National and International women’s ministry and ministered in various Full Gospel Men’s Fellowship Chapters in New England and other parts of the country. Valerie J. Fields, Inspirational Speaker Founder, Spirit of Woman Unlimited For years Valerie recalls having recurring dreams of speaking to multitudes of women. However it was not until she was given a mandate over 15 years ago, to speak at a women’s fellowship at the church where she attended at the time, did she actually understand the relevance of the dreams and discovered that she had a special passion to inspire women to embrace divine intention for their lives. Valerie later formed Spirit of Woman Unlimited to embody that vision and to create a platform where women could have the opportunity to discover and embrace the significance of their lives. Valerie has been an avid study on the dynamics of womanhood for nearly 20 years (in particular, how a woman’s physical design, emotional make-up and spiritual significance inter-relate); her wisdom of what she refers to as the “system of womanhood” inspires, challenge and propels women forward on a path to selfdiscovery. Valerie constructs and delivers purpose driven messages that provide a balanced blend of bold energy, compassion and life-changing information using a combination of biblical principles and common sense wisdom that provoke change and move women beyond their comfort zones. Valerie is an experienced facilitator of women’s events. She has been speaking publicly as an inspirational orator for 15 years and avails herself as a speaker for women ministry groups, churches, conferences, workshops and retreats. Valerie and her husband of 17 years resides Stamford, Connecticut with their 15year-old daughter.

There were other surgical procedures that Patti was involved in but this one had the biggest impact on her life. One day her eyes were opened to the truth, that it truly was a baby and not a blob of tissue which was taught to her so many times. It changed her forever, and led to a call on her heart to stand up for the innocent and helpless and be their voice.
