Implementation Grant from the Mar y land Depar tment of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR). DLLR and SANS will provide 80 qualified Mar y land residents with full scholarships to SANS’ Cyber Workforce Academy, providing a fast track to a career in cybersecurity. SANS is collaborating with industr y and nonprofits to suppor t applicant recruitment and postgraduation job searches. The Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu and the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore will help the SANS Cyber Workforce Academy graduates enhance their new ly acquired technical skills and acquire soft skills, such as communication and leadership, to increase their attractiveness to employers.
