Only the best for our sloth lovers! You may have heard of Chiapas as it’s a region that produceds some of the sweetest organic coffees in the world. Our Mexican farms use traditional knowledge and technologies acquired from their aboriginal ancestors. We support their methods as it preserves the surrounding forests and produces an incredible cup without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Chiapas, Mexico is also reowned for organic bananas, the flavour in which infues this coffee.

The beans come from a region of Indonesia once devastated by a tsunami, but now thriving with incredible coffee bean production. The flavors are so complex and rich that they withstand the decaffeination process better than any other coffee. It’s just one of those experiences every coffee drinker should try.

Sourced from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (Colombia), San Ignacio (Peru) and San Pedro Sula(Honduras), this cup fuels the economy and livelihoods of many large families in small towns. It all comes down to three incredible relationships with the associated growers. Like all Sloth coffees, these beans are arabica, wet processed & ethically sourced. Next, they are sundried out on a white sheet for a cup of divine joy for a direct stimulation of your body and soul.

STUDENT FUND A Micro-Bursary Fund for Students in Canada looking for help fund "out of class" learning. Students across Canada are heavily charged to learn within conventional education facilities, but we would argue that the modern, out of class, methods of learning are equally as beneficial, but harder to come by for financing help. That's why we created the Sloth Student Fund. The Sloth Micro-Bursary Fund is an initiative started by the student-founder of Sloth Coffee Co. to help students towards the betterment of their future. The fund is financed by Sloth Coffee Co.'s commitment to donate up to 15% of gross profits from the sale of the Sloth Coffee Co's coffee and goods with additional aid coming from our global source of donors. The bursary limit of $250/student/year is out to support students in funding small-costs/high-impact opportunities otherwise difficult in finding financial support.

Just before the magic moment of roasting, the sloths mix two varieties of beans; sourced from the world's top growers : Brazil & Columbia. Inside this bag comes a gift from high-altitude, small peasant holdings, where carefully picked beans are all wet-processed. Through our intense roasting process, the extraction of natural oils create a captivating exterior shine. In proper Sloth fashion, this bag is roasted for small batch orders. Fun Facts: French roast coffees are prevalent in the American West. They carry some dark brown colours and some bittersweet flavour characteristics.

Sure to give you a shock, this worthy blend was created with the growers in mind. We wanted to make sure we cautiously researched the impact we were making. Sloth Blend’s Guatemalan beans are paired with the high-class Yellow Arabica Bourbon bean of Vale de Grama, southern Brazil. These particular beans hold characteristics of low acidity and a significant amount of sweetness. Lastly, paired with the Colombian Excelso bean grown on small farms that heavily depend on coffee production to employ more than three hundred thousand community members. Fun Fact: 96% of the producers in this area are smallholders with an average farm size of only 1.5 hectares. In our experience, the smaller the farm, the more care goes into each bean.

Don’t worry, we didn’t put the sloth in our blender. Instead, we blended three of the world's best beans for a tasty cup. Beans from Huehuetenango, Guatemala have absorbed flavour from the region’s rich organic honey production. The Gayo Tribe of the Gayo Highlands in Indonesia produce some of the most popular specialty coffees in the world. The addition of medum-dark beans from Mexico create the perfect balance. Fun Fact: The Gayo Tribe values respect for fellow human beings. This tradition is a form of appreciation for humanity and has become a symbol of solidarity within the tribe
