Issue 5| Volume 1|February 2012

Be the Change :) February was a fun month for WSA as we appointed new senators, passed resolutions, and prepared for the many events WSA will hold in March (events can be found on page 3). The meetings varied from applauding for February’s Senator of the Month Kate Kivel, getting pumped for Polar Plunge by a Special Olympian speaker and cheering on Senator Dillion Buckland as he won a gift card for turning in the most comment cards. The comment cards let WMU students voice their concerns about campus issues. WSA would love for you to come join the fun at our weekly Wednesday meetings at 4:15 pm in the Bernhard Center - Room 157! We are the voice of all 25,000 WMU students. WSA listens to students’ concerns and act on the issues that matter to the student body. WSA is a student representative government that advocates policies to ensure the rights and integrity of all students.
