Saturday 17 May, 10am - 3.30pm Lady Mabel Walk Haigh Country Park Join us as we follow in the footsteps of old Mab, tracing out her 14th century journey of penitence from Haigh Hall to Mabs Cross, then on to Wigan Parish Church to see the effigies of Lady Mabel and Sir William Bradshaigh, returning via the River Douglas and Haigh Estate. The walk covers a distance of approximately seven miles (11km). Please arrive suitably dressed for the weather and with suitable footwear. Bring a packed lunch.
