Bowling Green resident Albert Faulkner was an alcoholic for 40 years, but he turned his life around and is now helping others battle their addictions. He said he often turns to Psalm 51 when he needs encouragement. “There was a time when I wanted to end my life,” Faulkner said. “I didn’t see a way out, so it was either try recovery or if this life was too much, to leave it.
