Irish Heritage Celebration Tenor Matt Macis Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Matt Macis began his career at age 16 in the Off-Broadway hit “The Awesome 80s Prom”, directed by the show’s creator and writer Ken Davenport. Hailed “a genuine find” with “an impressive dramatic and vocal range” by The Washington Post, this 26 year old performer has headlined casinos, performed at festivals, theaters, cabarets, night clubs, and private galas, in addition to working alongside or opening for many celebrated celebrities. He has circled the globe in his signature “Tribute to Michael Jackson” several times over, with one of his proudest moments onstage being when, in 2010, he fronted the band from the would-be concert and recordbreaking film Michael Jackson’s THIS IS

IT. He recently completed a year-long run with Sight & Sound Theatres, performing 11 shows a week for 2,000 audience members at each performance. While passion is singing the timeless classics of the Great American Songbook, his repertoire spans the pop standards of the past century. Matt Macis delivers delightful music, hilarious comedy, memorable songand-dance routines, and more -- making him an ideal choice for entertaining the most diverse of audiences.
