The impact of the Al Sanabel project is huge: it provides training and employment, together with a professional, empowering work environment and personal support for unemployed, single mothers who live on the fringes of society. UJIA is now helping Al Sanabel to develop and grow, diversify its catering supplies, create 55 more jobs for women and over 300 jobs for sub-contractors from the southern area of Israel. Women need to be employed, and if you help us employ them, 3,000 school children a day will be fed, a business will thrive, and the eventual profits ploughed back into the community. WIZO - Warm Homes Young women who can no longer live at home need to develop skills, which will enable them to live independently. That is why WIZO created Bayit Chamim or Warm Homes for girls who have nowhere to turn. Designed for girls aged 14-18 suffering from emotional neglect and living in unhealthy situations, Warm Homes welcome the girls with open arms, hot meals and emotional support, five days a week.
WIZO also guarantees that these girls receive counselling, educational workshops and social assistance. To ensure that these adolescent girls grow into strong, empowered women, WIZO offers social and educational activities that will enable the girls to build their self-confidence and increase their self-esteem. Texts are charged at £10 plus one standard network rate text. For help and any questions please call 020 7319 9169
